Debosmriti Dandapat is a Kathak dancer, performer and choregrapher based in Dubai. She began her journey at the tender age of Six, taking talim from Guru Debjani Sen and Guru Malay Bhattacharya. She is a graduate of Prayag Sangeet Samiti with B. Muse. She also has had the privilege to learn from renowned Kathak dancer, Guru Sandip Mallick from 2017. She began Upaj academy in 2013 and has 17 more years of teaching kathak. She has achieved numerous accolades over the years, like a Certificate of Participation in a Workshop by Padma Vibhushan Pandit Birju Maharaj, Various Dance performances in “Consulate General of India, Dubai, Awarded by ‘Big Idea Middle East’ from ‘Manipal University and many more. She has given wonderful efforts to students and changed them into extraordinary dancers over the years.
